Oversees IT data strategy to include any data application managed services partners.
· Selects software solutions and solution providers as needed to achieve business goals.
· Responsible for managing data application solution partners.
· Negotiates IT data application services and data application managed services agreements.
· Responsible for successful and sustainable implementation of data application solutions.
· Architects and designs custom development solutions, especially integrations.
· Manages contract resources for project work, negotiating cost and ensuring work product aligns with the need and Cub standards.
· Evaluates vendors, services, and costs to ensure Cub has the right solutions in place commensurate with the Cub data strategy and cost model.
· Researches and keeps up with retail industry trends and technology shifts to ensure Cub remains competitive with technology.
· Manages and leads multiple projects simultaneously.
· Provide direction and leadership to IT data staff.
· Mentors and develops IT data staff.
· Collaborates with business leaders to gain alignment on priorities and options, as well as evaluates company data strategy.
· Communicates issues and reports to management.
· Develops and continuously improves data/development and PM processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
· Develop and uphold data application development standards including requisite process and artifact management for project management, requirements, and engineering standards, to include the SDLC.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
5+ Years experience in data or application development
2+ years’ experience IT leadership
Preferred previous experience implementing data pipelines
data stores
and managing databases.
Previous experience implementing SaaS and Vendor Hosted solutions.
Cloud experience
in Azure
AWS or GCP.
Experience with web services
data management
AI/machine learning technologies
APIs
and other data managing technologies.
