Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Market Representation Analyst for the Toyota Los Angeles Region. This role involves implementing and overseeing initiatives that bolsters the Region's Market Rep department. The primary responsibility is to craft and present Market Representation packages for approval by Toyota Motor North America Retail Market Development. Direct areas of accountability include Market Representation, along with some engagement in Business Management and Facilities, all falling within the Market Representation department. Adherence to Toyota's policies and procedures regarding dealership management, capitalization, and facilities is crucial. This role plays a pivotal part in our pursuit of achieving top-tier representation across markets, focusing on securing premier dealerships, facilities, and locations within every market served.

What you’ll be doing

Research and analyze dealer proposals to ensure compliance with all applicable Market Representation policies.
Analyze dealer performance vs. TMS’s minimum standards (sales, customer retention/loyalty, capitalization, profitability, facilities)
Evaluate dealers’ proposed changes to ownership and management to confirm compliance with Market Representation’s Ownership and Control policies.
Prepare and compile comprehensive proposals for dealer agreement renewals, ownership changes, General Manager changes, buy/sells, location amendments, nominations of successors, entity/DBA name changes, and terminations.
Finalize/complete approved Market Representation actions and maintain dealer files.
Work with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA)-Accounting and Selling Dealer to reconcile and finalize the Selling Dealer’s parts account and wind down Toyota’s business relationship with the Selling Dealer
Occasionally travel to dealerships related to performance-based sales consultations, financial statement consultations, Dealer Performance Report consultations, and General Manager Evaluation (GME) consultations.
What you bring

5+ years of professional experience in the franchise automotive field
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Added bonus if you have

Strong knowledge of Market Representation policies.
Proficient use of Workout to prepare proposal transmittals and retrieve dealer performance reports/data.
Ability to develop and implement dealer proposal preparation processes and procedures that foster consistency and efficiency of work product.
A working knowledge of Urban Science systems to retrieve market analysis reports/data.
Strong knowledge of SmartView custom reporting to review dealer debt/equity, profitability, net worth, and proper financial statement accounting.
