As an Industrial Digitalization Specialist for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be responsible for implementing the operating model based on MES, WMS, ERP, business intelligence, apps, tools and any other sw or platform which might be required to increase the safety, efficiency, productivity, traceability and visibility of theshopfloor.

Production Engineering Manager

Your responsibilities
Ensuring that all processes within the operations are efficiently executed and correctly implemented through proper sw/tools/platforms
Being able to independently process sw/tools/platforms optimizations and business growth through continuous technical development
Ensuring proper Lifecycle Management of the sw/tools/platform. Ensure that all new developments and enhancements can be easily transferred to the next sw release, even though they might come by local or custom needs
Coaching and training other functions in using all the digital solutions deployed in production.
Analyzing the existing baseline, seeking innovation and opportunities to enhance the current tools, making improvements supported by data and business driven insights
Being able to challenge the existing processes, making external and internal benchmark in order to provide the business with insights and ideas about new way of working
Ensuring compliance to ABB internal IS procedures: relevant cyber security,
Collaborating with all the internal ABB functions, both from operations and IS, which might be involved in any sw/tool/ platform development or enhancement
Your background
Bachelor or above, science and engineering background, computer software related major
2 to 3 years of experience in software development related to manufacturing industry, familiar with MS Visual Studio development platform, familiar with C# and EF CORE/.NET Core and other back-end frameworks, familiar with common C/S and B/S architectures.
Familiar with common deployment and operation methods in the manufacturing industry, such as DevOps/On Prem/MS Azure deployment solutions
Understand common front-end development framework and language, familiar with HTML/CSS/Javascript, able to skillfully use the front frame of Vue/Angular/React/Element UI at least one.
Familiar with MS SQL/Oracle/MySQL at least one database language, skilled in designing database table structure and data table performance tuning according to business scenarios and requirements.
Familiar with common industrial internet architectures, have a certain understanding of IT/OT networks, and understand common IoT usage scenarios. Experience in hardware integration of manufacturing systems
