Description:

• Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems / issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.

• Plans technical requirements from customers’ needs.

• Develops SW / HW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).

• Defines product hardware / software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware / software documentation, hardware / software change control management, supplier and customer notifications.

• Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).

• Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.

• Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.



KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical Skills:

Experience in SW deployment on production/testbed including preparation of MOP (Deployment steps), Sanity checks, Deployment reports.
Experience in working on at least 1 Kubernetes platform (OpenShift is preferred).
Must have excellent debugging skills to fix the issues during the deployment.
Experience in core SW Development in Linux/UNIX environment using Java.
Understanding of OS and system software concepts like processes & threads, memory management, synchronization etc.
Exposure to Virtualization and Cloud technologies (Kubernetes/Dockers/Open Stack/VMware etc)
Exposure to Continuous Integration & SCM environments (Jenkins, SVN , GIT/GERRIT etc)
Basic understanding of Telecom network. Understanding of CDR/EDR structures and encoding/decoding.
Deep understanding of CSF components, FluentD pipelines, REST API
Able to carry integration testing with other nodes, acceptance testing, migration testing etc.
Fix security vulnerabilities in the product.
