Lead & perform development activities of medium/high complexity features. Create design specs - basic/small scope/less complex. Support peers in completing tasks within own area(s) of expertise. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Oracle Database Administrator
Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with more than 4 years’ experience with Oracle with work experience with MariaDB and Neo4J. Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Operating system experience in Linux.
Oracle DBA, MariaDB and Neo4J expertise.
Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump).
Partitioning.
Oracle RAC and Disaster Recover Setup handling.
Architecture design principles.
Hands on experience with DB standards and end user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology.
Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (11gR2).
Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
System Administration of Linux/Windows environment.
Experience in OS like Linux, Windows
Experience in Scripting
Experience in RDBMS like Oracle
Basic understanding of Telecom Network
Basic understanding of IP Network
Experience with trouble ticket tools and process
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Bachelor's in Engineering with 4-6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration operation (Troubleshooting, Configuration, Lab testing etc.)
