As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment. This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. We seek a full-time and part-time Independent Licensed Therapist for our Waterbury, CT location.




Primary Responsibilities:

Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Others Requirements:

Obtains an LCSW LPC or LMFT for practice in Connecticut
1+ years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting
Experience with health psychology
Experience working with children or adolescents
Experience with family counseling
Comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations
Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth
Hybrid role in Waterbury CT (2-3 days remote and office based)
