Adecco is hiring for Packaging Operators in Lincoln, NE
Packaging Operators do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with rates starting between $20.00-$22/hr. Current openings are on 1st and 2nd shift.
What Will You Do?
• Troubleshoot and maintain high speed packaging equipment (this includes some preventative maintenance tasks) all to be performed in a timely fashion.
• Perform settings/parameters changes on equipment and document as needed to achieve target efficiencies.
• Completion of shift handoff checklist to ensure thorough handoff of settings information.
• Support site OE initiatives. Continuous improvement ideas and implementation.
• Ensure area escalation process is followed.
• Communicate findings related to line performance verbally and in writing, to support and diagnose root cause findings.
• Assist department leadership resolutions to resolving technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team member Handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously
What do you need?
• High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in high speed packaging
• Ability to analyze and correct deficiencies in the operation of high speed packaging equipment
• Strong problem solving and reasoning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to respond with troubleshooting methods under time and delivery pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain control in stressful situations, and perform well under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in a GMP compliant manufacturing facility
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances Troubleshoot
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, this includes diagrams and/or drawings, part numbers
Preferred Requirements:
• Quality Control and Item Inspection experience a plus
• Experience in High-speed packaging environment, and troubleshooting skills
