Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s CSRM group is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as a Principal Engineer I - Product Cybersecurity Group.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the operations and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) cybersecurity services that enable connected vehicle secure communications.

Reporting to the Product Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations Senior Manager, the person in this role will join the Product Cybersecurity Group to deploy security solutions for applications in a more connected vehicle environment.

What you’ll be doing

Operations support for pre-production and production cloud PKI infrastructure.
Enhance systems and monitoring to increase service capabilities and reduce cost.
PKI customer technical support and engagement.
Lead the definition, development, and implementation of technical projects.
Lead the development and maintenance of documented processes and standard operating procedures (SOP), Global Certificate Policy, and tools.
What you bring

Bachelors in EE, CS, CECS, and/or Systems Engineering; advanced engineering degree preferred.
Extensive years of technical work experience
Strong technical competence in the use of the following tools: 
AWS
Windows Server 2016
Linux/*nix (RHEL, Security Onion, Kali) 
Python
Powershell
Terraform 
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) domain expertise, e.g., independently capable of acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in high visibility interactions with key stakeholders.
Hands-on administration of Encryption server, Key management server, tokenization methods, Hardware Security Module (HSM) installation, and management.
Domain expertise in cloud operations, networking, and site reliability engineering.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions. 
Added bonus if you have

Customer service and relationship management experience
Demonstrated initiative in identifying and improving aspects of the business – policies, processes, procedures, technologies, reports, and templates as needed.
Experience with ISO 27001 certification and audit.
Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.
