In Cloud and Network Services as a Security Software Engineer and a member of the Common Software Foundation team, you will be responsible for the software development of reusable security-related components and services for use across the Nokia Software product portfolio. You will ensure that these components are robust, maintainable, easy to use and you will support the product teams as they integrate them into Nokia Software applications. You will provide development support to product groups that are consuming this software.

REQUIRED SKILLS
BE/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
8-12 years of experience in software design, development and testing
Experience with design and development of platforms.
Hands on coding experience in Kubernetes technologies.
Experience working on Linux platform with good understanding of Linux internals.
Very good understating on Network Protocols like TCP, HTTP/2, SCTP, UDP.
Experience in container tools and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts)
Knowledge in technology methodologies (Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, software & hardware development practices, operational practices, web services design)
Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment.
Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations.
Team oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgement
Design, implement & maintain modular, scalable infrastructure platforms for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, based on latest open source offerings such as Kubeflow, Argo, Apache Beam, Flink, Nifi, etc using Agile-development methodologies.
Expertise in one or more programming/scripting env. like Java/J2EE, Python, GO, R, Ansible.
Exposure to Devops – Development experience in a Jenkins based environment with test framework exposures (ex. Radish, Cucumber etc.)
Desirable to have demonstrated open-source contributions/penchant for open-source contributions, awareness on licensing, security & compliance aspects.
Exposure to K8s helm creation, web servers, database, microservice, application development would be a plus.
Job also involves carrying out functional & system tests, software validation/reviews and technical support during platform deployment & product integrations.
Good debugging, problem solving and Analytical Skills are much desired.
