DESCRIPTION
Have you ever wanted to be part of a team who is building industry changing technology? Amazon’s Project Kuiper is long-term initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The ideal candidate will have experience on SAP and project management tools.
Key job responsibilities
• Plan, document and oversee all aspects of Business Applications programs, including ERP.
• Lead the design, testing, planning and implementation of complex projects.
• Coordinate internal resources for project execution.
• Effectively lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
• Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, and supply chain to negotiate a variety of projects and initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
• Lead Supply chain discussions, ask probing questions, and work with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and solutions to issues.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to peers and leadership on the plans, status, and critical issues.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through complex problems, weighing various priorities and options, and managing trades studies and constraints.

The Kuiper team is looking for a government sourcing and manufacturing leader to support business and engineering stakeholders in selecting, developing and managing business relationships with critical technology and service suppliers, on Kuiper objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of project management experience in information technology or ERP, with at least 3 years of SAP implementations.
• 5+ years of direct experience in technology procurement, spacecraft manufacturing, category sourcing or related supply chain experience.
• A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone.
• Experience defining KPIs / SLAs used to drive process efficiency and reporting to leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Curious to learn in depth about both technology and our customers
• An effective multi-tasker who navigates a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with grace and efficiency.
• Articulate and persuasive communicator, in writing and oral.
• Change Management methodologies experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
