About the role

As a Procurement Sr. Coordinator, you will assist with onboarding large vendors and maintaining the vendor master database. This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

What you’ll do

Maintain up-to-date records of agreement status throughout the contract process.
Recommend, develop, and propose administrative procedures and policies that enhance relationships with internal customers and vendors.
Proofread agreements, memos, and reports. Create vendor files and audit completed paperwork submitted by vendors and junior Coordinators.
Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of current non-disclosure agreements with vendors.
Assist in document preparation for all vendor agreements.
follow up and resolve expiring contracts, renewals, and terminations.
Review purchase order data, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Audit to review discrepancies.
Provide administrative support for large procurement projects, as needed.
Perform high value tactical sourcing, as needed.
Periodically review vendor master data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information.
Ensure all new vendors add requests have been assessed by Information Security, where applicable.
Coordinate vendor and client training on procedures. Mentor junior associates.
Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided.
Follow standardized procedures and practices and receives regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience.

An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.

Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval.

Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive approach.

General math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups or complicated information within the team.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement, Sr. Coordinator position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement, Sr. Coordinator position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
