Description:

ABB has a regional IS organization to drive standardization and harmonization of solutions and to ensure delivery of high quality IS services for ABB business units within the region, by bringing significant focus on business value driven innovation and delivery as core competencies. As a Workday Product Manager in the ABB IS organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-paced, international environment, build business relations, develop solid partnership with IS Teams Regionally and Globally, coordinate to solve complex problems, participate in building our IS solution capability and grow together with the rapidly developing business.
This position is only able to be located in Cary, NC.

Your responsibilities
HR Delivery Domain: Build and maintain a strong customer relationship with our key HR Business while serving as a strong consultative partner to continuously improve service delivery.
Overall accountability for data governance, security and compliance (inclusive of SOX controls)
Implement and support various IS programs or tools as dictated by Global or Regional programs (Recruitment, Employee Central, Learning & Development, Payroll, Performance management, Incentives etc.) to enhance business functionality and performance.
Lead workshops to collect business requirements and translate them to system requirements. Identifying gaps, issues, and work around solutions, while continuously optimizing implemented solutions to streamline and simplify processes to improve End User functionality.
Manage the HR Domain workstream teams efficiently (Internal and external) providing stewardship on the various HR systems, in addition to having a roadmap and succession plan for all internal team members. Engage, motivate, and drive teams to deliver on Key performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with Business expectation on our established SLAs guidelines. Including minimizing backlog of tickets by Domain.
Work closely with the PMO and provide a dashboard to IS Delivery Domain Managers on Projects that are late or almost late. Ensure and maintain accuracy on the Project Server and Project time tracking.
Maintains a view of upcoming demand within the services in scope.
Collaborates with Teams outside your Domain to get an understanding and foster team building across all Domain’s Regionally.
IS Strategy, IS Standards: Keeps up-to-date and informed of ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and ABB IS Strategy planned or ad-hoc changes. Stays abreast of any incident, change or project which has or might have a major impact on the relevant part of the service.
Ensures work in the delivery domain is compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, the ABB IS Application Roadmap and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines, especially ABB IS Guidelines and Directive, that deal with IS service delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Works with various Business and IS stakeholders to deliver effective IS operation solutions that drive business value and ensures stakeholder alignment for the domain’s solution approach.
Reports progress to end users, colleagues, and management alike.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis on Information Technology and Human Resources preferred.
As a Workday HR expert; you have at least 4 to 6 years designing and upscaling Workday solutions, having implemented several of its HR modules.
Experience in determining and use of relevant business metrics, analyses and reports to measure, monitor and improve performance. You can identify and apply sound, fact based criteria in setting priorities and making decisions.
Knowledge of product management and product lifecycle management.
Detail oriented, superior organization & communication skills.
Demonstrated project management skills: develop, plan, and implement system roadmap, prioritize work, strong capacity planning skills required.
Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to protect confidential information.
Superior experience in objectively evaluating IS problems and making recommendations.
Excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of HR business processes and IS technologies.
Solid experience in leading teams of IS professionals who do not directly report, in addition to the ability to identify and resolve employee or Team conflicts.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
