You will be working as Product Testing Specialist and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Engineering Manager and will be responsible for acting as an authority for testing and verification activities of medium to highly complex systems. Facilitating completion of testing activities efficiently, timely, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.
Your responsibilities
Providing testing and assessment services according to product standards like IEC60947
Supervising and training the testers, trainees and to make sure their competence and test quality
Participating in test equipment failure analysis and maintenance
Participating in product test failure analysis, provide improving proposal and advice
Studying updated product standards and prepared new test methods
Preparing or designing testing fixtures or jigs for efficiency improvement
Performing other related duties as assigned or indicated by superiors
Your background
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in testing in relevant field
Experience in certification and be familiar with the certification process of low-voltage electrical products
Good knowledge and understanding of SLD’s
Good knowledge and understanding of the application of electronic and electrical products like ACB, MCCB, Contactors, and SFU etc
