We are actively working with a client in Worcester, MA, who is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join their team! Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
Coordinate with production supervisors, inventory managers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
Analyze production data, including inventory levels, capacity constraints, and production rates, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Adjust production schedules as needed in response to changing priorities, equipment downtime, material shortages, or other disruptions.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, taking proactive measures to resolve issues and prevent schedule deviations.
Communicate production schedules, priorities, and deadlines to relevant departments and personnel, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.
Implement and maintain scheduling software systems or tools to streamline scheduling processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to production processes, equipment utilization, and workflow to optimize overall efficiency and productivity.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in production scheduling and incorporate relevant insights into our operations.
