Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of Program Financial Analyst supporting Sensor and Electronics Solutions (SES) projects in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Monitors and reports costs and schedules for contracts within SES; participate in the planning, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
The candidate must have good communication skills as the position will have significant interaction with Finance Manager, Project Managers, Program Directors, and many other functional organizations.
Must also be capable of assembling financial data for inclusion in contract closeout/review, EACs, forecasting, and variance explanations.
Develop cost and financial reports to support government contract and internal business reporting requirements
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Start-Up, Program Maintenance, Program Close-Out, Performance Analysis, Time and Labor Recording, Reporting, and Analysis, Subcontractor Maintenance, Monthly Financial Close, Customer Reporting, Problem Resolution and Pricing
Interface with Program Management and Finance in the development of Annual Plans and Quarterly Forecasts including risk and opportunity analysis for consolidation in Business Area and Sector strategic planning
Assisting product teams in identifying potential issues and/or cost efficiencies and developing plans to resolve issues or implement efficiency improvements.
A broad knowledge of accounting, billing, and finance would greatly benefit the performance of these duties
