Description:

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Ag Business Group. We are actively seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead the development of our Specifications and Standards program, fostering a standardized approach across our Ag Business operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). The ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams is crucial for success in this role.

This position can be a fully remote position with option to work from a CHS location or corporate office in Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Responsibilities
​​​​​​​

As the Program Manager, you will lead the development of the following initiatives through a committee approach:

Specification Content: Develop and refine specifications in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
Priority of Specifications to Implement: Assess and prioritize specifications based on business needs, industry trends, and stakeholder input.
Governance Plan: Establish and oversee a governance framework to ensure the effective and compliant implementation of specifications.
Maintenance Plan: Develop strategies for the ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvement of specifications to meet evolving business requirements.
Engagement of Internal and External Resources: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather expertise and resources for program development.
Repository Management: Create and manage systems for storing information, ensuring accessibility, organization, and security of data.
.Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural, Civil, Electrical, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Process Engineering or related experience
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing repository systems.
Knowledge of control systems standards and best practices
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Ag Business.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
Excellent relationship and communication skills
Excellent at organization, documentation, and follow-up
Proven troubleshooting, problem solving and investigational skills
Knowledge of process operations and safety processes
Working knowledge of capital process
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office suite
