Description:

The CUI(Controlled Unclassified Information) Program Manager, will be responsible for the refinement of overall program tactics and strategy, objectives, schedule, and deliverables, including providing direction and subject matter expertise to multi-business and multi-disciplinary teams, to produce results in a timely manner and ultimately operationalize a stable ongoing program.

Additionally, this key role will monitor proposed and pending regulations, governmental policies, and other agency actions related to information, data, and technology security affecting ABB’s infrastructure, products and solutions, and supply chains, and coordinate with ABB’s businesses and functional groups, and external resources including industry associations to participate in rulemaking processes and implement business preparedness and implementation strategies.
Your responsibilities
Formulate, organize, monitor, coordinate, and direct where required, multiple interconnected projects necessary for the implementation and operationalization of ABB’s CUI Program consistent with the US agency regulations associated with Federal Contract Information and Covered Defense Information, e.g., FAR 52.204-21 and DFARS 252.204-7012 and related requirements including NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0, pending FAR Case 2017-016, and other governmental and private sector CUI pursuant to agency-specific rules
Program oversight, and direct support as a subject matter expert, for the implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures for the continual monitoring of CUI flow within ABB’s infrastructure, identification of CUI physical and digital assets, administration and updates to System Security Plans (SSPs) and associated Plans of Action and Milestones (PO&AMs) including Control Correlations Identifiers (CCIs), assignment of NIST 800-171 control owners, periodic self and/or third party compliance assessments and remediation, and related agency-specific obligations such as incident and cyber-incident reporting
Lead the development and implementation of core program infrastructure including ABB’s CUI policy, standards and procedures, and related essential elements
Collaborate with business leaders, businesses and functional stakeholders including IS/IT, HR, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and Manufacturing, and Trade Compliance, to identify and implement common cross-functional solutions for guidelines, processes, procedures, and trainings required for an effective and compliant CUI Program
Develop and put into practice audit procedures for periodic and incident-specific assessments including remediation recommendations and oversight to implement enhancements to ABB’s CUI Program
Develop and control overall schedule, deadlines, budgets, and activities. Analyze program risk and resolve projects’ higher-level scope issues. Prepare and deliver accurate and timely reporting of overall program status, challenges, and recommendations to projects stakeholders and leadership
Partner with ABB’s businesses and their key partners and suppliers / subcontractors on agency and industry compliance requirements regarding the protection of CUI
Proactively engage with ABB’s Government Relations and Public Affairs, agencies, industry associations, and other organizations to monitor proposed and pending regulations, governmental policies, and other agency actions, and lead business and functional implementation of ABB infrastructure information and data security, products and solutions (including Internet of Things (IoT) device, and Operational Technology (OT), as well as people assets, including for solutions that are deliverables to ABB’s governmental and private-sector customers), and including supply chain traceability and security
Your background
Bachelor degree and 8 years of related program management experience in a large matrixed multi-business, multi-functional groups and organization or Associate degree and 10 years of related program management experience in a large matrixed multi-business, multi-functional groups and organization or High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of related program management experience in a large matrixed multi-business, multi-functional groups and organization required
Experience in compliance as it relates to understanding and practical application of leading organizations through the implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework, and related publications including NIST Special Publications 800-171 and / or 800-53, as applicable to nonfederal (private sector) organizations, and associated agency CUI-related regulations required
Travel up to 30% required
Exceptional analytical, written, communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work across all organizational levels with a proactive business-minded approach required
Ability to work in a diverse team environment, lead cross functional groups in developing/implementing government related processes and systems required
Experience developing or leading the composing standards and procedures, business workflows and approval processes. Proficient with Microsoft business productivity products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
