The AWEO region brings together all solar and wind activities dedicated to Western Europe: France (incl. Corsica and Overseas), Portugal and Spain, of the Akuo Energy group. AWEO has 120 employees and has a goal of financing 2 GW of projects by the end of 2024.
In total, 6 photovoltaic projects are currently in operation or under construction in the South zone for a total of more than 50 MWp. AWEO is accelerating its development locally with a portfolio of projects in development of more than 200 MWp and in prospecting of more than 300 MWp.
Reporting to the South-East Region Development Manager, you will be in charge of the development of photovoltaic projects within your geographical scope (PACA region).
Your missions will be as follows:
Support for prospecting solar projects:
Identification of sites capable of integrating a power plant
Carrying out feasibility studies
Securing land
Development of relationships and trusting partnerships with owners, local authorities, local associations and administrations (DDT, DREAL, etc.)
Project management: planning, project monitoring, risk analysis, supervision of external service providers
Completion of key stages and coordination of studies necessary to obtain administrative authorizations for the project:
Pre-engineering
Impact study
Connection pre-study,
Geotechnical study
Contribution to the construction of the project business plan
Preparation of applications for calls for tenders from private buyers within the framework of Corporate PPA
Support for the contractualization of construction and operating contracts during the financing phase
You will also have to ensure regulatory, pricing and competitive monitoring of ENRs within your scope.
Qualifications
Required profile :
You have a background in engineering or town planning, regional planning, public law or an Institute of Political Studies.
You have acquired initial professional experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar position or related to energy, land use planning or even infrastructure construction.
Languages: French is your mother tongue and you are also fluent in English (You will mainly work in a French scope, however Akuo is an international group whose usual language is English. Furthermore, you will be required) to exchange regularly with non-French-speaking collaborators or partners).
Tools: PVSyst, QGis, PVdesign, Draftsight/Autocad
You must have a B license because the position requires regular travel.
Personal qualities sought:
You have a real interest in renewable energies (solar, wind, etc.) and the energy and agricultural transition.
You are recognized and appreciated for your interpersonal skills. Generally speaking, you have excellent communication (oral and written).
You are said to be an organized, reliable and rigorous person in your work.
You are able to carry out several projects in parallel. You nevertheless maintain a sense of priorities and act in complete transparency with your team

Further information :
You will be based at our premises in Marseille: 27 rue de la République, 13002 Marseille. However, regular travel (1 to 2 days/week, within a 3-hour drive) is to be expected in the region.
You will have a service vehicle, shared with other members of the office in Marseille.
