As a Project Engineer for Motion Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be responsible for designing to order based on ABB ACS880 cabinet drive products to satisfy customized requirements.
This position reports to
Engineering Manager
Your responsibilities
Supporting sales department to provide preliminary drawings on pre-sales stage
Maintaining existing application engineering solutions and designs in design database
Supporting production line in terms of application engineering in the manufacturing process
Cooperating with other engineers from PM, PE, PD as well as R&D etc.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, or relevant fields
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, e.g., drive panel designer or low voltage switchgear panel designer
Proficient in MS office and popular design softwares such as AutoCAD, Creo, Solidworks etc.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, strong ownership and self-motivated Hard-working spirit
ABB ACS880 modules built in background will be valued
Good command of English in both oral and written
