Publication Design Specialist, Manchester



Fitch Ratings is seeking a talented, resourceful and versatile publication design specialist for its Manchester office. The successful candidate will format time-sensitive credit research.

We’ll Count on You To:

Perform high-quality formatting and layout of research reports under deadline pressure.
Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Be an agile and efficient formatter, capable of laying-out content in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint to produce a high-quality finished product.
Help to manage content through to production, delivering a design and layout consistent with Fitch standards.
Become adept at using the Fitch global research publishing applications.
Work with analysts and editors to ensure accuracy and legibility of charts and tables.
Provide constructive criticism to analysts and editors on design and layout.
Support accuracy and style standards in the publishing process.
What You Need to Have:

Desktop publishing experience, preferably within an information or financial services environment.
Excellent formatting skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Data visualization skills and familiarity with data visualization tools would be a bonus.
Ability to handle multiple reports and within tight deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a close-knit team as well as independently.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Motivated and resilient.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: The anticipated base salary range for this full-time position is $ [X] to $ [X], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
