Description:

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a client in Bowling Green, KY to recruit and hire a Quality Manager.

The Quality Manager is responsible for directing the overall department and quality functions. They will ensure maintenance, and implementation, of effective quality management systems and standards.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing quality control processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Managing the Quality Department, including employees, planning, systems, and overall direction.

Developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS) to ensure product/service quality.

Conducting regular audits to monitor compliance with established quality standards.

Directing internal and external audits, interpreting, and implementing ISO Quality Standards.

Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and establish quality standards.

Managing supplier quality by evaluating and enhancing supplier performance and working with vendors to ensure the quality of purchased parts.

Staying informed about industry regulations and ensure the organization's adherence.

Analyzing quality data to meet established goals and product reliability expectations.

Formulating and maintaining quality control objectives and inspection criteria.

Developing and delivering training programs on quality processes and standards.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in quality management or similar roles.

Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems and quality tools

Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement, Root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.
