• Plans technical requirements from customers’ needs.
• Develops SW / HW build-controlled productions releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
• Defines product hardware / software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware / software documentation, hardware / software change control management, supplier and customer notifications.
• Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
• Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
• Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
REQUIRED SKILLS
As part of our team, you will be:
Drive the E2E Test Planning, Test Strategy and Test Execution covering all aspects of testing like Functional testing, Performance testing, Security testing, Test Automation and CI.
Provide the e2e leadership for the overall testing activities for any project/use case with ownership for feature and release test activities.
Support the Project Management to Identify and Manage the risks in the testing domain.
Your skills and experience
Ability to design and implement functional and performance test strategy with the needed equipments, simulators and related configurations for the respective domain.
Strong experience with setting up, maintain lab environment consisting of of virtual, physical network elements, Linux, and applications based on Kubernetes and integrating them to 4G/LTE/5G connectivity infrastructure.
Good working experience with testing the SIP/Voip/IMS applications and related protocols and specifications.
Experience with cloud native environments - Docker, Kubernetes , related networking aspects along with log collection and troubleshooting.
Good experience with 4G/5G LTE call flows.
Experience with preparing and configuring e2e test environments for LTE and 5G with integrated devices, radio and core networks.
Good understanding of L2 and L3 layer of LTE/5G 3GPP standards, Networking /Transport layer (IP, TCP, GTP)
Solid Experience in Cloud (Amazon AWS, EE Cloud) / Virtualization environments
Good working understanding of Application Layer (HTML5, HTTP/FTP), Networking /Transport layer (IP, TCP, GTP), Messaging Frameworks (MQTT, Kafka etc)
Good experience with L2/L3 configurations, Switch configurations etc
Exposure to operator network deployment/configurations enabling demos / trials / pilots
Experience in using Automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible
Experience in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Shell for automation. It is good to have working experience of Golang for automation.
Experience in Continuous Integration, Testing & Automation frameworks (Robot, Selenium etc), Load/Performance Testing Tools/Simulators
Experience in Agile/scrum/DevOps practices
