Key responsibilities/Job description:
Realization of (Analysis, Development, Implementation) of Registers features, customer issues resolutions, enhancements, change requests.
Technical consultation on development & testing activities of Registers Network Functions including Architecture.
Handling of Feature delivery & maintenance topics
Responsible for the product quality & deliverables for new features and handling customer issues
Perform high-level and low-level design of the component/functional area.
Take ownership of end to end development of features/components.
Meet the relevant project quality targets and objectives.
Contribute to R&D efficiency improvements.
Demonstrates independence and raises innovative ideas.
Understanding of performance & robustness aspects of telecom products, preferably core products.
Requirement Analysis, Effort Estimation, Development/Testing, Working closely with development phases, Integration, Automation
Planning and execution. Debugging & Analysis of critical customer issues and their resolution.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Skill required:
Mandatory to have hands on experience with Advanced C++ programming & design patterns
Unit test & Module test environment exposure
2G/3G/4G/5G Core Network knowledge is desired, preferable to have knowhow about HLR, HSS, UDM, EIR & exposure to 3GPP standards.
Knowledge in Analysis, Design, Development, module testing, unit testing & functional testing.
Exposure to Cloud Infrastructure (Openstack/VMware), & cloud native technologies – dockers & Kubernetes, dockers.
Know-how of TCP/UDP/IP, TLS & socket programming & expertise to http2 protocol
Preferred to have experience in handling opensource components/stacks in product development.
Hands on knowledge on Linux platform.
Familiar with debugging tool like gcov, Coverity, memory profiling tools, such as valgrind
Exposure to Agile development methodologies
Python scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
