The Regional Functional Expert provides support and guidance to specific functional areas of ownership for business process and associated systems.
This role drives continuous improvements using innovative process design across functions, recommend interface improvements, and system solutions. This role provides excellent customer service and support, as it relates all system areas of MGS Finance.
What would be your key responsibilities?
SAP System support - supporting key users through period and year end close process; managing and coordinating all testing, roll outs, system upgrades with Mars IS Core Service Teams.
Business Analysis - Leading/participating in business assessment projects and business case development work; partnering with Global Process Owners) and Business Process Owners to understand current and future process and technical needs.
Business Process Management - facilitating process and application operational excellence in an end-to-end process; designing, developing, testing, and providing training of complex business process Continuous Improvement Projects.
Knowledge Management - partnering with Business Process Owners to develop and drive knowledge management strategy.
Projects - partnering with technical and S&F and Business Process Owners resources on projects to perform global scope activities such as recommend, designing and piloting the application of new business processes and supporting systems covering end-to-end business processes while considering the needs of all functional areas involved.
Acting as consultant for key SAP regional rollouts and manage rollout of global technical enablers.
Daily supporting of end users and key users at SAP (Atlas) and Ariba related queries in Accounts Payable area, which Key Users are not able to solve.
APOC support – extracting necessary company code’s and vendor’s master data from SAP (Atlas) in case of onboarding new company code or vendor to APOC scope.
Continuous Improvement Projects – in case of need to raising them, coordinating necessary testing, training and deployment to production environment. It is related to Continuous Improvement Processes for Accounts Payable area in Atlas and Ariba related CIPs for Finance area.
Global Finance Governance – regular re-visioning of changes related to Accounts Payable area in Atlas, coordinating/processing of necessary testing within process of moving changes to production environment.
Being a Partner for Business Unit and Stakeholders to understand current and future technical needs.
What are we looking for?
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting.
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
Strong working knowledge in SAP.
Digital Transformation and Automation experience.
Practical experience and knowledge in any of the General technology solutions.
Experience in Digital Transformation and Automation area.
Business analysis and integration experience.
SAP Certification (FICO) will be a plus.
Project Management and Process Management Certification (PMP/ Agile etc.) – nice to have.
Business analysis and integration experience.
Fluency in English (C1 level).
