Summary
CHS Mountain West has an exciting hybrid opportunity in Missoula, MT/ Remote. We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our growing agriculture organization to be a Retail Feed Sales. This role will focus on retail fencing, feed, seeds, and animal health products while optimizing our market strategies, shares and efficiencies to help achieve our mission and goals for our customers. Responsibilities
Product Promotion and Sales:

Identify potential clients and work closely with GTM team to develop strategies to grow the territory.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor product recommendations.
Promote and sell CHS’s farm/ranch products and supplies.
Build in-depth knowledge of the products to demonstrate their benefits to potential customers.
Work closely with Animal Nutrition team to gain understanding of feed and supplement product lines to make informed recommendations to customers
Logistics/Inventory Management

Optimize delivery schedules/routes to ensure timely product distribution.
Work closely with the Missoula Store Manager to ensure adequate product inventory is on hand.
Driving/Delivery

Have or willing to obtain Class A CDL.
Operate delivery vehicles (such as trucks or vans) safely and responsibly.
Adhere to traffic rules, speed limits, and safety guidelines.
Regularly inspect delivery vehicles to prevent breakdowns.
Assist in loading/unloading products onto delivery vehicle and at customer locations.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development and Account Management
Additional Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work extended hours during peak demand periods and minimal travel for business, as needed
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
Sales experience preferred
JDE and/or SAP experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
