Sales Specialist



Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Credit Sales Specialist out of our London office.



In this high-profile sales role, you will be part of the European Sales team. Sales Specialists are responsible to proactively drive new business and cross sell activities within Buy-Side and Sell-Side accounts as well as Insurances Companies and Corporates across France and French-speaking Switzerland. You are responsible for selling a suite of products and solutions covering:

Credit Research
Ratings Data Services
Fundamental Data

We’ll Count on You To:

Drive new business sales through direct client engagement – including identifying new prospects, initial engagement, and sales negotiations.
Contribute with the account managers to cross-selling and development of long-lasting client relationships.
Become a subject matter expert both in the industries you cover and the solutions Fitch has to offer to our clients
Grow the business by persuading and negotiating effectively across the territory
Liaise and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support your client’s needs
What You Need to Have:

Self-starter with ability to build his/her own pipeline from day one
Proactivity, enthusiasm and resilience
Ability to negotiate as well as articulate product value proposition and competitive advantage
Sales/business development experience within the broader financial market (e.g. fixed income, risk management), leading to a network in the French-speaking region
Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal forms of English and French are essential
Willingness to travel for client meetings and company events


What Would Make You Stand Out:

Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Good knowledge of the Credit Risk workflow (risk management requirements in strategic decision making, risk identification, risk quantification / quantitative modelling processes, regulatory requirements)
Understand credit risk management processes and regulatory guidelines that require the use of credit ratings and be able to link them to our products
Self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance.
An articulate, personable and energetic self-starter
