At Cognizant’s Salesforce practice, we help our clients shape their digital transformation journey and design groundbreaking Industry solutions using the power of Salesforce. Our experts provide relevant expertise and experience within their domain combined with deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and broader ecosystem.

About You
As a Salesforce Delivery Lead, you will work closely with our clients and internal teams to act as domain experts and drive the design of practical and innovative solutions across industries. We seek someone who communicates clearly and confidently, leading technical briefings and business requirements gathering sessions.

See the problem statement (RFP/ RFI) by identifying missing information and framing appropriate queries to ferret out the missing information.
Own and articulate end-to-end Salesforce solutions for a particular client’s requirements
Assess clients’ Salesforce requirements and identify fitment while responding to opportunities.
Design Salesforce Solution Architecture, including Integration details and App Exchange Products.
Own Effort Estimation, Estimate best-fit timeline & resource model in liaison with the Presales/BD team
The proposition of in-house solutions/accelerators and doing a fit-gap analysis for the client’s requirements.
Coordinate / Anchor Solution workshops and lead Solution articulation as part of DA/Delivery review sessions.
Lead solution detailing and lead articulation process while responding to opportunities
Coordinate / Anchor Solution workshops and lead Solution articulation as part of Delivery Assessment/Review sessions.
Detail and articulation of solutions (response to RFPs/ RFIs/ proactive proposals etc.) and ensure completeness of the Solution content
Track periodic Salesforce releases and underlying capability enhancements and assess fitment with the client’s technical and functional requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Industry experience of a minimum of 14+ years, with the majority specifically in the CRM/CX area
8+ years of Solutioning/Delivery Experience with Salesforce platform
Preferably worked with a leading Digital IT Solutions company
Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Community, and Analytics capabilities
CRM Consultant / Architect certifications in Salesforce/Other CRM Platforms is required
Ability to drive the CRM Solution and Estimation with minimal supervisor involvement and should be able to work independently
Very good communication skills and habits, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and proactive thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills
Ability to quickly connect business requirements to functional capabilities and assess the applicability of Salesforce solutions to business problems
Strong Communication skills are required to work with the Customer Executive team and drive Solutions.
Strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce development and configuration
Good understanding of Salesforce APIs
Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and standard methodologies
Understanding of data sharing and transparency considerations and how to use it in platform architecture
Extensive experience using UML to detail technical architectures
Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning standard processes, and deployment methodologies
