JOB PURPOSE

Our internal Supply Chain Consulting team - Supply Chain Strategies (SCS), is established to realize key business goals by looking at the End-to-End Supply Chain with a longer-term vision. The team drives 3 strong strategic programs to deliver value towards the company’s most ambitious goals.

SCS drives the transformation agenda with an end-to-end approach through:

Network Design: Review and redesign our manufacturing/sourcing network for cost optimization, ROIC improvement, make vs buy decisions, capital investment evaluations
Design-To- Value: Gross Margin improvement through End-to-End business analysis from Consumer insights, Pricing/Portfolio/Promo analysis, product teardowns, competition benchmark to Procurement & Supply Chain cost optimization
Competitor Intelligence: Understand, monitor, and anticipate competitors’ business operations to unlock opportunities
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The role requires strong leadership ability, exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, excellent communication capability and analytical skills. This is an exciting, high profile and leading role with the following responsibilities:

Work as a Supply Chain Strategy Project Lead, across multiple categories, regions, products, etc. and leverage deep understanding of our 3 programs
Lead projects and deliver results on time, within scope and within budget
Build meaningful stakeholder relationships to bring them along the project journey, while still challenging the status quo
Manage delivery from cross functional teams internally and externally while ensuring quality of delivery from external partners and managing escalations or leadership involvement when required
Collaborate meaningfully with senior leaders across the organisation to identify opportunities to drive business solutions
Define project governance structure, drive Steerco reviews, assess risks (cost, scope, resources, quality) and plan ways for mitigation.
Devise ways to improve project delivery by bringing in best practices
Experience and Qualifications

Around 5 years’ experience in strategy consulting environment OR in FMCG
Prior experience in E2E Supply Chain (Procurement, Logistics, Strategic Planning) and / or Net Revenue Management, Portfolio / Pricing Optimization, Finance
Experience in training, coaching and guiding teams to achieve project outcomes
A solid understanding of cost accounting, financial accounting, and project management
Very strong storytelling, presentation and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical ability, strategic and critical thinking
Can work and build rapport with stakeholders across functions and seniority, in a multicultural environment
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regressions, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc) and experience with applications.
Experience using statistical computer languages is a plus (R, Python, SLQ, etc. to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets)
