Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s TMNA Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated PE Seibi Technician.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support FAE PE with the procurement, design, and trialing of new or modified equipment for NAMC’s assembly shops manufacturing production.
What you’ll be doing
PLC/SPLC programming Toyopuc, AB, Omron
Offline and/or online robot programming
Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
Prepare and confirm new Assembly equipment at the vendors and NAMC’s
Support Assembly Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from design to installation and to start of production.
Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials/SOP
Engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada, and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work off shifts when required.
What you bring
High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Associate technical degree (or higher), or equivalent experience
Strong PLC programming experience, Toyopuc, AB, Omron, Siemens
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
Maintenance experience
Toyota Maintenance experience
Ability to travel up to 50% at times (including international travel)
Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Added bonus if you have
Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field
Knowledge of safety scanner setup and programming
Knowledge of vision systems setup and integration
Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, Ethernet IP, TCIP, FLnet, ProfiNet
Understanding of Toyota Assembly AVI
Toyota PE Seibi experience.
Industrial Maintenance experience.
Experience with mentoring and/or technical training.
Experience with AMRs, AGVs, AGV Traffic Control
