At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Small, forward-thinking engineering teams generate collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality work you're doing. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior .Net Developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, applications that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.
Location: Phoenix, AZ.
Work Authorization

Roles & Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
Monitoring and improving frontend performance
Documenting application changes and developing updates
Ability to work on basic SQL operations - queries, Create, update, delete
Perform analysis, design and implementation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, processes, and product / program requirement
Engage with global teams to effectively translate customer requirements to software requirements and identify potential solutions that are optimized to operate with in constraints of the product
Experience in working in agile methodology
Qualifications
Required Skills:
7+ years of exp. in .NET Development
4+ years of experience in cloud native development with .NET Core 4.6.2 or higher version
Must have hands-on experience in C#,.NET Framework, WCF/Webservices and SQL DB / NoSQL DB, Angular.
Experience in developing REST APIS which can be consumed by web and mobile applications.

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 – $133,900 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
