Description:

Purpose: Supports the development and implementation of Action Against Hunger USA’s advocacy to US government (USG) stakeholders focusing on the Administration and Congress, based on global, regional and country strategies and priorities from across the network; mobilizes resources to achieve advocacy objectives; expands learning, and drives organizational efforts to positively influence the policies and practice of USG stakeholders to achieve the organization’s goal of ending hunger.
Engagement: Advocates and builds partnerships with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), research and policy institutes, think tanks, and key Washington, DC-based groups and partners to positively influence US government policies and practices to end hunger and undernutrition.
Delivery: Supports the Chief Executive Officer to strengthen the Action Against Hunger’s capacity to effectively influence the policies and practices of the US government to effectively address undernutrition and the underlying causes of hunger
