• PostgreSQL Database Architecture & Design for cloud native architecture.
Memory DB (like Redis) architecture and design.
Creation of technical blueprint documentation for the product and NPI team.
Supports solution deployments and integration using cloud native tools.
Developing, Testing, Debugging, and Troubleshooting of Database on Containerized and non- Containerized Infrastructure.
Single point of contact for all the database related work.
Ensure solutions are well-engineered, maintainable, and delivered on schedule.
Support all the stakeholders with the database specific queries and technologies.
Keep a track the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance.
Identify potential issues in the database to solve them quickly.
Designs a security policy for the DB
Develop automation technologies to accelerate the process of data loading.
Maintain the database using different utilities.
Manage user access and permissions by adding and removing users as required.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Strong Technical expertise for Architecture/Design/Implementation for PostgreSQL DB.
Experience in memory DB (like Redis) architecture and Sharding concepts.
Understanding of Open-stack and public clouds like AWS.
Experience in HA model and its implementation for the PostgreSQL DB
Expert in Linux and its Tools
Expert in DB sharding and partitioning.
Data modelling for PostgreSQL
Expert in database migrations, cloning and replication.
Expert in active-active Database implementation
Expert in database performance fine-tuning.
Experience in supporting spring boot micro service architectures with PostgreSQL.
Backup and Restore of the DB.
Contribute to enhance the database environment, working with the global team across time zones, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship as required.
Database design and implementation of their storage systems.
Optimization of performance and scalability.
Experience in implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical databases.
Knowledge & Experience
Strong Technical Experience on Databse like PostgreSQL and Redis. Typically requires 12-15 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
