Description:

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified ATG Senior Developer with at least 5+ years of experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: Memphis, TN, USA (REMOTE)

Responsibilities:



· Onsite Lead for the Ecommerce Managed services team providing end to end production support for B2C Eco systems.

· Incident management, Triage for incident resolution, provide work arounds, code fixes for issues, deliver minor enhancements.

· On call support for the platform, offshore coordination with the extended team, attend daily standups, participate in problem management / change management activities.

· Lead the team on establishing monitoring, prepare SOP’s, left shift to L1.5 team, develop automations for productivity improvements.

· Provide leadership on SRE aspects on Ecommerce support.





Required Qualifications:



· 5-8+ years of experience in web application development, design, unit testing and implementation.

· Proficiency in ATG eCommerce Framework.

· Proficiency and implementation skills on ATG based application is required, with large scale implementation a plus.

· Proficiency in JAVA, JEE, build tools such as ant, maven, SCM tools, Enterprise class Web Application.

· Development using Java/JEE frameworks is a must.

· Experience and hands-on on one of the following products: Oracle ATG Commerce, Commerce Service Center (CSC), and Endeca experience Manager.

· Development experience on an Oracle ATG platform is a major plus although experience in developing in any major, Java platform is also highly desirable.

· Experience in Akamai, GCP and Script-automation is an added advantage.

· Knowledge of Java thread and memory dumps and when to use them.

· Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, and RESTful). Understanding of build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, Automated Builds, Continuous Builds).

· Source control processes & tools (Perforce, Subversion, code branching) is a plus.

· Experience working on system integrations (particularly third-party systems such as OMS, search, ERP, payment).

· Knowledge of system architecture, system sizing and/or J2EE components.

The Salary rate for this position is between $87,000 – $130,000, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
