Description:

Fitch Learning is currently seeking a Senior Director, Head of Americas based out of our New York office.

You will be responsible for managing Fitch Learnings business across the Americas. You should expect to manage your own B2B Client portfolio as well as commercially leading the Business Development team. Your focus on this role will be to help position FL as a leader in financial education across The Americas.



You will work closely with FL’s senior management team and also align alongside your FS counterparts and peers across various functions. This will include FS Americas Head of Sales, B2B Business Development teams, product specialists and marketing. This role is accountable for revenue, we value commerciality in all of our senior team and this role would also expect to be external market facing as required.

Deliver the Americas strategy through intellect and disciplined execution of a plan.
Leverage Fitch Solutions resources to help build more brand awareness for FitchLearning.
Drive Thought Leadership through the team, client base and learner population.
Reporting to the CEO, provide regular updates on business performance, challenges, and new opportunities, maintaining a revenue metric reporting approach.
Actively help identify, manage, and develop new commercial opportunities, specifically in the financial services sector, but also extending out to other relevant sectors.
Lead the Thought Leadership of FL Americas, helping shape and position the message across media channels to raise commercial awareness and opportunity.
Deliver against key performance indicators, examples of which include:
Business Development activity metrics
Product Quality – feedback from learners, market reputation, topicality
Client Quality– Ux and learner satisfaction
Achieve revenue and other financial targets, continually driving performance to new levels.
Help develop the FL/FS ‘Go 2 Market’ strategy, including positioning, marketing and media channels.
Understand at a deep level the knowledge and skill requirements of the specific FL product segment (Credit, Risk and ESG) and be able to translate that understanding into a commercial sales plan.
See and interpret emerging themes into commercial actions and manage how these themes shape the future offering.
Provide advisory services to peers on FL topics and help shape the wider client offering.


What You Need to Have:

Strong understanding of the Americas financial markets either through a similar experience or as a market practitioner.
Track record of commercial aptitude and delivery in a professional/information services industry.
Understanding of the Americas corporate education market and the impact of technology on the industry.
Strong commercial markets experience (>10 years) in working in financial institution or information research provider.
Business understanding of Credit, Data, Risk and ESG topics.
Expertise gained through sales advisory and/or direct and indirect client sales channel interactions.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $190,000 and $220,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
