Description:

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Fitch Ratings, Research and Data, Market Development Manager based out of our NY or London office locations.

Working at Fitch Solutions is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in a Global Financial Services company supporting Financial Institutions with premium ratings, research and data across a broad spectrum of use cases.

The newly created Market Development Manager is a critical role within the commercial organization at Fitch Solutions. The Market Development Manager’s core mandate is to design and execute initiatives and campaigns that support the sales and revenue growth plans globally. Critically, the Market Development manager is a conduit between the Fitch Ratings, Research and Data Global business leads and the Sales and Account Management teams, bringing industry and product expertise to customers, via coordinated and structured sales campaigns.



Key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:

Ideate, design and implement sales campaigns that leverage a multi-channel, end-to-end approach to increase sales results
Monitor, manage and report on campaign progress, course correcting where necessary. (Supported by Sales Operations)
Designing customer centric value proposition plans and sales messaging, connecting customer and persona challenges with Fitch Solution value
Utilizing data to create TAM / SAM bottom up sizings to help prioritize sales focus and prioritization
Detailed analysis and opportunity creation via cross sell and upsell sales planning
Building strong relationships across the company to partner effectively in a matrix organizational structure to achieve the best business outcome
Strategic client engagement, connecting and establishing relationships with senior decision makers
Aggregation and prioritization of key customer feedback to ensure the business owners receive product and industry intelligence to act on
KPIs:

Revenue growth accounting for sales & retention performance from existing and new logo clients
Sales productivity metrics
Campaign outcomes: qualified leads, opportunity creation, conversion rates
Client feedback
Feedback from business partners
Skills / Experience:

10 years+ business development experience within Financial Services
5+ domain expertise and experience specific to the Ratings business industry
10+ years supporting a business development function within Financial Services
Senior stakeholder relationships and experience with Exec level client meetings
Pricing and commercial acumen with respect to data and analytics
Advanced MS Office use and management
Ability to make a business case using large data sets and analytics technology such as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $190,000 and $230,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
