Senior Director, Special Situations Analyst

CreditSights is currently seeking a Senior Director, Special Situations Analyst based out of our New York office.



What We Offer:

Opportunity to join a team focused on special situations research within the market leading CreditSights platform.
Ability to collaborate with best-in-class CreditSights analysts, Covenant Review lawyers and LevFin Insights reporters on some of the most interesting and complex credits in the market.


We’ll Count on You To:

The role will involve working both independently, in partnership with other analysts and in conjunction with legal analysts to write research focused on special situations across public and private situations.
This is a publishing role and requires a commitment to active production of credit research. This research will be consumed by a broad spectrum of debt market participants including investment funds, law firms and sell-side financial institutions.


What You Need to Have:

8+ years of total experience in financial markets
Experience covering special situations credits as either a sell- or buy-side analyst
Self-starter with strong, personal initiative and desire to work in a team
Organizational, follow-through and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000 and $250,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
