About the role
Roku is looking for an outstanding Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this role will play a critical role in supporting key business partners and developing automated reporting and forecasting solutions to drive business insight that is relevant and digestible.

This role provides broad exposure to senior leadership and key decision makers across the company. Applicant should have strong communication skills, financial modeling skills, exceptional attention to detail, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high growth environment. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $135,000 and $144,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing
Perform financial analysis by leveraging and developing financial models in order to provide insightful financial information that supports our internal customers’ ability to make informed business decisions
Understand, manipulate, and leverage various data sources to capture company and market data for use in various financial and business analytics
Provide analytical support and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes. Conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends
Initiate and drive deep dive analysis to enable decision making, execution and/or strategic planning at the corporate, business unit or segment level
Identify and implement improvements to make financial and operational reporting better, faster and easier
Perform ad hoc analyses and projects from various business partners


We’re excited if you have
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
3+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in a high growth media, technology or software services company
Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
Advanced knowledge of Excel and demonstrated proficiency with advanced functions (index, offset, arrays, etc.)
Talent for synthesizing complex ideas and communicating them in ways others can easily understand; ability to clearly and concisely present issues, ideas and recommendations in verbal, written and presentation formats to senior executives
Bias for action, problem solver with ability to navigate a complex & matrixed corporate environment while juggling multiple responsibilities
Exceptional attention to detail and able to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Strong working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes
Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Proactive, positive and highly collaborative team player who is willing to jump in to help where needed
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Experience with Anaplan preferred; experience with NetSuite is nice to have
