Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Full Stack with Liferay Portal experience, developing and building successful, scalable, enterprise applications with Technical skills like, Spring MVC ,HTML 5 , jQuery, Core Java and Agile process.

Responsibilities
Hands on Web Application Development and Unit testing. Absolute requirement of coding portlets and configuring Liferay DXP. Also, mentor rest the team on standard methodologies of Liferay.
Work with client Product Owner and development lead to assign the story, analyze and understand the requirements
Provide timely delivery of the code and be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and provide appropriate suggestions
Be part of the architecture discussions and planning/design review meetings
Develop, deploy, and maintain projects in accordance to the Agile
Participate in every production release and provide support to the business for the functional checkout of the application.
Responsible for code quality and adherence to standards
Report status against the project plan and Possess ability to communicate clearly with project team
Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines
Must be able to take production support on rotation bases
Qualifications
Must have Technical Skills : Hibernate , JPA, Spring MVC ,HTML 5 , jQuery, Core Java, SOAP Service, REST Service ,JSR ,Liferay Portal, Agile process
Must be willing to learn new skills based on project requirement.
Must be flexible with working hour to adjust client need.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 73,000 – 129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
