As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls/completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity. This Senior Pharmacy Technician role is equally challenging and rewarding. As a senior team member, you’ll help identify problems and determine solutions both independently or in a team/group setting. You’ll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. It’s a fast paced, high volume environment where accuracy is essential.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, will be required to work an 8hr shift between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm and will be required to work rotating weekends for on-call rotation (would be on call for Saturday and Sunday and rotation would be once every 4 – 5 weeks) with overtime required based on business needs

Staging medication, supplies for dispensing

High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia
1+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
1+ years of hospital experience IV compounding and/or oncology
Pharmacy / prescription data entry experience
