What You will do
Responsible for leading the Power BI development associated with a client-facing reporting website including embedded reports, paginated reports and large data download solution.
Understand complex Power BI architecture, as well as associated technologies used to automate reporting built in Power BI (APIs and Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Databricks or Azure Synapse).
Understanding of data models and optimization required at source to produce optimal results in Power BI.
Design data models that transform raw data into insightful knowledge by understanding business requirements in the context of BI.
What you bring to the role
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or information system along with work experience in a related field.
Working knowledge of Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS components of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack.
Solid understanding of Databricks or Azure Synapse Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.\
Experience in a set of technical skills, including a deep knowledge of database design, data programming languages and experience with many Data Technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong communication and collaboration skills.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in our Client's office in Toronto or London, ON.
