As Product Owner at Cognizant, you will be responsible for leading delivery team with gathering requirements from stakeholders, feature design and implementation in a servant leader role.

Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Role: Individual Contributor

Essential Functions:

· Strong technical and problem solving aptitude as well as the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Ability to manage technical projects and translate technical initiatives into Architecture, DevOps, Platform and general non-functional requirements into product level definition and acceptance criteria that promote modern and sustainable software architecture, supportability, and consistent reliability best practices.

· Work with Product Management, Solution Owners, Scrum Masters, Leadership, and other?stakeholders to help ensure backlog strategy and execution alignment

· Lead and facilitate the deliverables of Agile teams (including ceremonies) by working with stakeholders to clarify epic objectives and ensure Agile team members can accomplish these objectives.

· Create Sprint and Release plans; ensure that plans receive appropriate review, authorization, and visibility through Agile ceremonies.

· Ownership and strong stewardship of agile team’s backlog, story definitions and refinement; including rank order across competing priorities (roadmap, defects etc.)

· Support team needs and conflict resolution.

· Track and forecast project progress, activity and effort; communicate effectively through multiple channels to sponsors and key stakeholders.

· Continuous and early assessment of project risk factors and recommendation of courses of action to mitigate risk.

· Manage internal and external stakeholder communication.

Others Requirements:

5+ years of project delivery experience in leading Scrum/Agile development teams with demonstrated results
Experience in the Healthcare technology industry and claims processing systems
Experience in managing technical aspects of the project
Experience in product backlog management process including prioritization

planning
risk and issue management.
Scaled Agile experience (SAFe)
