You will be working as Service Engineer and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Service & Digital Platform Division based in Dhaka; Bangladesh. In this role you will be reporting to Service Manager and will be responsible for to handle all Robotics Service & Sales related requirements for Bangladesh Robotics customers and ensure customer satisfaction and Support Robotics business at Bangladesh. You will also be responsible and accountable for meeting Robotics Service & Robotics Business requirements across Bangladesh.
Your responsibilities
Performing on-call emergency repairs of ABB Robotic system equipment in the field and provide system integration support of ABB robots to designated build shops as well as the end-users
Handle all Service-related activities like supporting on telephone, making site visits as necessary, taking care of AMC and preventive maintenance support and getting Service business
Providing robot specific or systems training in an informal environment to customers as required and should have knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) communications and other robotic peripheral equipment’s
Person needs to have ability to communicate gently with customers (external and internal) in high-pressure situations and maintain strong customer relationship.
Being proactive to support customer needs and strong initiative in finding other work opportunities during lean periods
Identifying and pursuing sales leads for additional Robotic and system opportunities and is required to thinking analytically, communicating and maintaining record of work location and status daily
Work autonomously and making sound judgments. Creating and maintaining high customer satisfaction so that we also develop good Robotics business in that region
Should be ready for option to relocate if needed in future
Your background
Degree in BE/B Tech
Total 8 to 12 years of experience overall and must have minimum 5 years Robotics customer Service field and preferably also have experience of Robotics Sales
Person should be able to work independently. Good knowledge of Robotics applications, mechanical and electrical software and hardware
Ready to adapt new technology changes. Experience on Robot Studio, ABB Robot and knowledge of SAP and SFDC would be an added advantage
Good communication skills, presentation skills and analytical thinking should be there
Person must be able to handle rigors of Air travel and other forms of travel and will have to travel at short notices including odd hours & weekends
Person will have to travel across the Bangladesh for Service & Sales – Travel time >70%
