You will be working as Service Sales Specialist and will be part of Process Automation business for Measurement & Analytics division based in Kolkata, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for driving service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager or Service Manager. Generating service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area. Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units.
Your responsibilities
Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed
Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market
Generating service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios
Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product / solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)
Planning and performing the right number of weekly sales visits, reporting them on CRM
Charting out and monitoring sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in electronics or instrumentation engineering.
Require 3 to 8 years of experience in process industries
Experience in sales of spares, customer management, stake holder management
Good experience in metal, oil and gas, chemical, cement, power industries
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
