Description:

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Architecture Expert at our Plano, TX location to act as an advisor to customer with a broad application, LoB or industry understanding.



Expectations and Tasks:
Understands as-is situation and goals of a customer holistically (e.g. industry, LoB), can translate them into an appropriate business-driven IT-roadmap and architecture design based on SAP’s offerings and SAP’s cloud strategy. Operationalizes customers’ business strategies, identifies relevant components, approaches, input, etc. to derive best possible solution and help our customers reap the differentiating benefits of the Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions. Collaborates with customers, partners and SAP teams for the best possible implementation. Drives knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers. Collaborates and co-innovates with respective development teams. Fully understands and leverages capabilities of SAPs technology platform(s). Explains and uses various Architectural patterns – e.g. micro-service-based architecture, reactive architecture, cloud native etc. Supports sales BRIM deals by articulating deployment scope, design, roadmap, and estimates. Designs a to-be architecture for optimal outcome that supports the realization of expected business outcomes. Defines strategic, conceptual, and organizational scope for the design of SAP-centric IT landscape.



Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.



Work Experience:
Experience must involve 2 years in the following:
• Perform Business Process Design, Requirements Gathering, and Fit/Gap analysis in the BRIM area of SAP;
• Lead customer discovery workshops and author Business Requirements (BRD), Functional Design, Configuration and Technical Design documents for solutions in quote to cash process area leveraging SAP BRIM solutions;
• Define integration strategy for modular SAP BRIM components with external applications (SAP and non-SAP) leveraging middle-ware;
• Review and execute customer testing strategy, quality and coverage of test scripts and test fit assessment with documented requirements from BRDs; and
• Design and configure Billing, Invoicing, Correspondences and Invoice Correction solutions leveraging SAP Convergent Invoicing.

Travel: Position requires up to 100% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting is permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $132,933 - $ 198,560. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $146,000 - $248,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
