JOB PURPOSE

Site Quality Lead role works within Quality Business Units Group organisation focused on the implementation and compliance to Unilever’s Quality Management System (QMS) & GMP in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. The role will also need to lead the quality team within the site, ensure quality right first time of innovation and drive the quality improvement within the site.

This role will be supporting Quality for Nutrition BU. Reports direct line to BU Quality HC & TH GTM Q Lead and dotted line to Head of Food Sourcing Unit Gateway.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Deploys UL Quality strategy, governance, and goals through Category specific projects and targets.

Responsible for the implementation of Quality Culture within the factory and compliance to the Quality Management System, Unilever GMP standards, Specification, and local regulatory requirements.

Responsible for the implementation of Halal Management System (according to the local standard & other customers requirement for both local and export market) & Foods Safety Management System on the site

Manages and provides leadership for factory quality teams to perform their roles and responsibilities and support factory operations.

Provides expertise, leadership, and support in Quality management for resolution of Quality issues.

Drive quality improvement through audits, data analysis, workshops, and toolkits both internally (within the site) and externally (supplier, 3Party warehouses)

Drives quality improvement to the implementation of digital and automation.

Ensures quality processes are implemented for all innovations & changes to ensure Quality right first time.

Leads quality pillar in UMS implementation.

Responsible for ISO17025 laboratory management system for both microbiological and chemical analysis.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor 's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or similar major.

Minimum 7 years working experience in manufacturing, preferably in quality management.

Knowledge of Quality management system, regulatory requirements, and standards for Foods including FSSC22000 system, HACCP system, Halal requirements (CICOT, JAKIM, MUI) and ISO17025 Laboratory system.

Good communication skill, including reading and writing in English in daily work.

Well develop interpersonal and leadership skill
