• Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
• Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
• Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
Specific responsibilities include:

The Nokia Services tools division is looking for a highly motivated full-stack software developer with a solid foundation in backend technologies. The candidate will be working with a team of developers to deliver various application tools. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities in the area of software design, implimentation, and testing. The candidate should have extensive experience in Java and web application technologies using open source frameworks such as React JS.

Knowledge & Experience

Qualifications and Skills required:
A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
5+years experience in web application development
Minimum 3+ years in development using Java
Extensive Java EE development experience on the framework and libraries, including Spring framework, Sprint webflow, JPA, Hibernate, JMS
Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
Must have experience with web and enterprise application development
Experience in using code management systems (git)
Understanding of SQL and relational databases
Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks and technologies like React JS, JQuery etc
Application development using web services using REST APIs
Expertise creating unit and automated test cases/suites/tools
Experience with commercial and open source servers like Apache web server, Apache Tomcat , and JBoss.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
