The Enrollment Unit is responsible for services that are delivering an Enrollment experience on AtoZ to our customers and the underlying integration with vendors to provision elections. For the US, it'll deliver improvements to the Enrollment experience for New Hires, Qualified Life Events (QLE), and Open Enrollment. Among the improvements, we'll deliver better choice architecture (nudge) mechanisms, short videos, choice tools (calculators/simulators), etc. For an additional 16 countries, we'll launch the full Enrollment Experience allowing us to deprecate 3P vendors, including the data migration, and diff tools to measure accuracy of our services. It's also responsible for the Enrollment Services (Election Service, Window Service, etc.), Vendor Integration, Vendor Reconciliation, Life Events (Experience & Service), and Dependents & Beneficiaries (Experience & Service). This team will also work closely with the Foundation and the Discovery & Experience team to deliver the Currency-based Benefit Store for OE 2025 in the US.
As an SDE II on the team you will take ownership over the software design, documentation, development, engineering approach, delivery and support of new Benefits platform built natively in AWS. You will actively participate in the design, technology selection, and build of the platform. A successful SDE II will have a broad array of experiences, exceptional design skills, an excellent ability to solve problems, good communication skills and a desire to be a key technical contributor. The software you will be responsible for will require a breadth of technical development knowledge (i.e. distributed real-time systems, big data, orchestration software). Daily work will involve interacting with engineers, product stakeholders and managers, working on creative algorithms and building large-scale systems.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
