You will be working as Software Developer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Digital Solution Engineering Manager and will be responsible for developing automation for validating flows in the software application, performance engineering, industrial data preparation, automating simulation data and executing scripts in CI/CD pipeline to deliver a product of the highest quality.
Your responsibilities
Managing predominantly on UI test development
Understanding the product and feature by discussing with the SME and automate the test cases
Participating in regular code reviews with a high bar on the quality of the code
Fixing issues in testing and bugs in the test pipeline. The expectation is to not write test cases, but an aptitude of testing is required for this role
Your background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related technical field
Minimum 2 years of total experience writing code in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript and Selenium or Protractor
Understanding of UI automation best practices. Experience in Web Services testing (REST /SOAP)
Experience in UI/API test development. Experience in developing UI automation framework is plus
Experience or knowledge of web protocols and system architecture is desired
