Our team is the centralized technical engine supporting the PXT Capabilities and Impact Team (PXTCI). We uses science, data analytics, and engineering to create and support learning and development solutions for employees across WW Operations and beyond. We build technologies and produce insights that: (1) help new and transitioning employees to onboard and assimilate into their roles, (2) create mechanisms for employees to reskilling into in-demand roles, and (3) accelerate career growth for high-potential employees.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support building our PXT applications. As a member of our passionate engineering team, you will solve deep technical problems and build innovative solutions using Amazon Web Service's framework and latest technologies that take planning models to the next generation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with distributed systems and large scale of data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of building complex software systems experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
