As an expert in software engineering, undertakes highly complex system engineering projects, providing technical knowledge and skills to implement/support a systems initiative. Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex systems software engineering issues. Works with minimal supervision to handle conflicting priorities or direction. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Makes complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations. Working independently, responsible to understand project schedules and costs, planning and conducting assignments as needed. Responsible for process improvements and ensuring others adhere to the standard processes. Operates with great latitude for significant changes, actions, or decisions, unreviewed by supervisor.
